DreamChaser in South Africa! D.R.E.A.M. YOUR DREAM!
one of my favorite moments inspiring IThongasi Primary School students to D.R.E.A.M YOUR DREAM as DreamChaser!
kind of amaZing!
My son, Geo Vega, became a capoeirista today.
Words can’t even describe how I feel right now. I truly believe I have witnessed history in the making today. I may be biased, but many others share that same sentiment as well. Our special guest, Professor Pica Pau, specifically requested to play Geo. Not only to baptize him, but to actually kick off the official event. All eyes were on him. He’s the youngest child ever to be baptized at Capoeira Volta Ao Mundo. He represented to the fullest. I couldn’t be a happier or more proud father right now.
Many of you have seen and reposted the video of my son’s story, from the threat of not walking to doing what he does today and I want to thank all of you! (Please click the link and watch the video and repost it if you haven’t already). I filmed Geo’s entire jogo with Professor Pica Pau as well as the tying of his cord, but I’ve decided to keep it in our personal family archives. If you want to see some more pictures from the event, you can check them out here. You have to “Like” Geo’s Fanpage to comment on them.
On behalf of my whole family, I want to thank Capoeira Volta Ao Mundo, CapoKids, Mestre Rony, Professora Cereja and all the amazing teachers at the academy. They have provided the path for us to express ourselves through Capoeira.
Axé Baba.
